Text, Images, Video Content Policy.
We allow videos to help promote items your selling, however, there are some additional restrictions to the type of content being posted.
When you create your listing for the item you want to sell, you should add your own text, images, or videos, this is the best way to sell your item because potential buyers will learn and understand exactly what you are selling and its condition.
If selling items via wholesale or drop-shipping you should check with the supplier before using their content, we recommend contacting them by email, you can save and use the email as proof of consent - should you receive it.
You can't use text, images, or videos from the internet without consent from the respective rights owner.
The Following is Allowed:
Text and Descriptions;
- Titles and descriptions must accurately represent the item that is for sale.
Images;
- Images must accurately represent the titles and descriptions.
- Images must show genuine identification stamps or serial/model numbers for items such as high-end-jewellery.
- Images must not be blurry, pixelated, or have jagged edges.
- Images must have a clear background.
Videos;
You can include videos to help promote your item such as:
- Videos that explain how to use the item
- Videos that show the item in use.

We do not allow text, images, or videos that advertise/promote or include the following;
- Fetishise, Nudity, sexually suggestive content, depict pornography, or sexual acts.
- Be deceptive, misleading, false, or impersonating a person.
- Refer to (specific) celebrities in any unauthorised manner, unless your brand has received an official endorsement from such celebrity.
- Divert viewers or buyers away from BNSBids. For example, by including website links or names.
- Infringe on another’s intellectual property or content that is used without permission from the respective rights owner.
- Disclose private or personal information. (including on social networks)
- Promotes firearms or weapons, etc.
- Contain foul, vulgar, or obscene language references.
- Contain or encourage violence or graphic imagery.
- Promote alcoholic beverages in a way that encourages alcoholic misuse.
- Promote cigarettes, cigars, or loose tobacco in a way that encourages misuse. (Not including merchandise)
- Promote or make claims that can't be justified or supported.
- Promote any illegal activity.
- We do not allow text, images, or videos that are of poor quality.
- If a child is shown in a video, The child must only be related to the item only - Sellers must have the written consent of the child’s parents or guardians.
- Minors modelling swimwear or undergarments is strictly prohibited.
- we do not allow any personal opinions of clothing, footwear, and accessories being modelled.
Make sure you follow our Text, Images, Video Content Policy. selling activity that doesn't follow our rules or policy could result in your listing being canceled, deleted, or suspended.
