Cosmetics Policy

We have strict policies in place that prohibit the sale/re-sale of used cosmetics on BNSBids. We prioritise the well-being of our customers and strive to create a safe and trustworthy marketplace for all beauty enthusiasts.

Cosmetics are products that are usually rubbed, poured, sprinkled, or sprayed onto the body for cleansing, beautifying, or changing the appearance of the body. The cosmetics category includes products like skin creams, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, temporary tattoos, eye and facial makeup, shampoos, hair colours, and deodorants. These products are designed to enhance our natural beauty and help us feel confident in our skin.

It is very important that you are aware that used cosmetics can cause some serious health and safety concerns because cosmetic products and relevant applicators are used to apply direct contact with the body, and for this reason we do not allow used cosmetics or cosmetic accessories.

Because one cosmetic product may be okay to sell in your local home country/ state, other countries/states may have restrictions or even prohibit the same cosmetic product. For this reason, we do not allow sellers to offer shipping outside of their local country.

Sellers are responsible for conducting their own research regarding the cosmetic products they intend to sell on BNSBid, Seller must comply with all laws and BNSBids policies.

Labeling Details:

When it comes to cosmetics labelling, there are several key pieces of information that must be included on the packaging.
These details not only help consumers but also ensure that the product meets regulatory standards.

  • Labelling Language: English.
  • Product Name: The name of the product should be clearly displayed on the label. This helps consumers identify the product and differentiate it from other items.
  • Ingredients List: One of the most important aspects of cosmetics labeling is the ingredients list. This must include all ingredients used in the product, listed in descending order of concentration.
  • Usage Instructions: Clear and concise instructions on how to use the product should be provided. This helps consumers achieve the best results and avoid misuse.

  • Net Weight or Volume: The amount of product contained in the packaging should be clearly indicated. This helps consumers understand how much product they are purchasing.
  • Expiry Date: Cosmetics have a limited shelf life, and it is important to include an expiry date on the label. Using expired products can be harmful to the skin.
  • Manufacturer Information: Details about the manufacturer or distributor of the product should be provided on the label. This helps consumers contact the company if they have any questions or concerns.

Useful Tips: To help ensure compliance with labelling regulations, companies should:

  • Stay informed: Stay up to date on changes to cosmetics regulations and adjust labelling practices accordingly.
  • Work with regulatory experts: Consult with regulatory experts to ensure that labelling details meet standards.
  • Conduct product testing: Test products to assess safety and efficacy, ensuring that labelling accurately reflects product characteristics.
