Listing Conditions

When creating your listing, we require all sellers to be honest and provide clear pictures along with accurate information. This ensures buyers can make informed decisions based on transparent and reliable details. Clear images help showcase the product’s true condition, while honest descriptions build trust between sellers and buyers. Adhering to these standards benefits everyone by promoting fairness and improving the overall buying and selling experience.


1. Listing Conditions & Accuracy.

Your listings must:
  • Correct Categorisation: Items must be listed in their proper category so buyers can find them.
  • Truthful Representation: Titles, descriptions, pictures, item conditions, and media must accurately reflect the exact item or service for sale.
  • Video Restrictions: Videos must be in .mp4, .flv, or .mov formats and feature only the actual product. (or link your youtube video)
  • No External Links: You are strictly prohibited from including URLs that direct users away from BNSBids.
  • Variations & Customisation: If you offer choices (e.g., sizes, colours), you must have the stock to fulfil them. For personalised items, you must provide clear instructions for the buyer.
  • Handmade & Labeling Rules: Specific legal labelling requirements must be met, and handmade items must comply with our Handmade Items Policy.



2. Communication and Feedback:

Professional conduct builds trust and leads to better seller ratings.
  • Sellers Are Required To:
    • Respond to buyer enquiries in a timely manner.
    • Resolve order disagreements or issues responsibly.
    • Leave honest buyer feedback after every successful transaction.
  • Prohibited Communication:
    • Sending unsolicited advertisements or donation requests.
    • Including external URLs in comment sections.
    • Interfering with transactions between other members.
    • Abusing members or contacting them after being asked to stop.



3. Item Pricing and Payment Methods.

Transparent pricing ensures smooth transactions at checkout.
  • Pricing Rules:
    • Set a clear price in your preferred currency. The total price shown on the invoice is exactly what the buyer pays.
    • You can set distinct prices for different item variations.
    • Never include price text inside the product description field.
    • Price gouging (inflating prices during high demand/limited supply) and price manipulation are strictly forbidden.
  • Payment Processing:
    • Only approved payment gateways (such as PayPal) are permitted.
    • Sellers must link a valid payment email address. Business sellers must use their official business payment email.



4. Taxes, Duties, and local / International Shipping.

Sellers must comply with local (and international shipping) tax laws when fulfilling orders.
Some or all taxes, depending on your selling activities, may not apply to you.
  • Local Sales Tax: We pre-configured tax rates based on different countries/states. the tax rates option you select. Only residents in that selected country/state will see or pay these taxes.
  • Invoice Totals: We automatically calculate and apply the total price shown on the invoice.
  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): If you ship outside your local country, you must use DDP. All duties, taxes, and import fees must be paid by you upfront so the buyer faces no surprise courier bills at delivery.

5. Shipping, Handling, and Returns.

Reliable fulfilment prevents order disputes and negative feedback.
  • Item Location: Your listing location is pre-filled from your registration data. If an item ships from somewhere else, you must manually update the location so buyers have accurate shipping costs and delivery estimates.
  • Shipping Standards:
    • Clearly state your handling times and ship items within that window.
    • Use track-and-trace services to provide official confirmation of delivery.
    • Specify your logistics details clearly (e.g., pick-up options, postage weight, carriers, and optional insurance). You can integrate ShipStation to manage these workflows.
  • Returns Policy:
    • Business Sellers: Must offer a minimum 14-day returns policy.
    • Personal Sellers: Must accept returns if the item is damaged, faulty, defective, or not as described. In these cases, the seller must pay for return postage and provide a full refund or replacement.
