Prohibited Live Animals

You cannot sell most live animals on this platform. Only supplies for these animals are permitted.

• Live Mammals & Birds: No dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, ducks, or any other live mammals or birds.

• Uncertified Wildlife Materials: No illegal modern ivory, rhino horn, whale bones, shark fins, or taxidermy of endangered or migratory species.

Animal Wildlife and Derived Products We strictly control the sale of animal-derived materials to prevent the trade of endangered species. Below are the specific rules regarding ivory, bone, and related materials: Strictly Prohibited Items You cannot list or sell any raw, unworked, or modern wildlife materials: Modern Ivory: Any elephant, hippo, walrus, narwhal, or whale ivory harvested after the legally designated cut-off dates. Protected Skins & Parts: Furs, pelts, or traditional medicines containing tiger bone, bear bile, or rhino horn. Permitted Antiques, Bones, and Simulants The following items are permitted, provided they meet strict documentation and description requirements: Pre-1947 Antiques with Ivory Elements: Pianos, musical instruments, and furniture containing small, integral ivory elements (e.g., keys or inlays) are allowed. Requirement: The listing must be advertised with clear proof of age from an antique expert and comply with regional registration laws, such as the UK Ivory Act Guidance or the US FWS Endangered Species Act Ivory Rules. Man-Made Ivory: Synthetic alternatives, including vegetable ivory (tagua nut) and French ivory (celluloid). Requirement: The exact man-made material of the item must be clearly stated in the description to ensure transparency. Non-Ivory Animal Bone: Bone harvested from non-ivory-producing animals (e.g., bison, buffalo, and oxen). Requirement: The specific animal origin must be stated clearly in the product description. Fossilised Bone: Ancient, fossilised skeletal remains. Requirement: The exact species and geographical origin must be listed clearly in the description.

Permitted Live Animals (Strict Handover Rules)

Sellers may only list specific, low-risk live organisms. International shipping of live specimens is strictly prohibited. Cross-border transactions (e.g., US to EU or UK to EU) are blocked.

Selling Requirements:

• Local Pickup: Allowed and encouraged to minimise animal stress. Handover must occur in a safe, public, or verified commercial location.

• Domestic Shipping: Allowed only via authorised, specialised next-day courier services. Shipments must use insulated, temperature-controlled packaging appropriate for the climate.

• Rule: Flea and tick remedies must be over-the-counter (OTC) and approved by the relevant regional authority: US EPA, UK VMD, or EU EMA. Prescription medications are strictly banned.

Dog Supplies
